Greetings from the Land of Moosicology…Welcome to Moosicology! Established in 2014, Moosicology emerged from a personal journey of discovery and a passion for nurturing young minds through the power of music. Our story began with a simple observation when our founder Liisa Henriksson was visiting a Baby-and-Mummy music group with her son. Although it was a nice activity, the lack of educational substance in the sessions made Liisa envision a more enriching experience for children – one rooted in music theory concepts and genuine musical education. Through years of research and collaboration with some of the most talented music educators worldwide, the Moosicology method was born. Our comprehensive approach integrates captivating songs, engaging stories, activation tracks, and beautifully illustrated pictures to deliver a fun music education experience. Moosicology’s core belief is that music learning should be accessible to all children, regardless of traditional barriers such as time, cost, and location. The Moosicology method surpasses these limitations, empowering toddlers and babies to embark on their musical journey from the earliest stages of development. What most people don’t know is that small children – even babies and toddlers – can learn real music skills, even when they aren’t old enough to learn an instrument. Different music theory concepts, rhythms, notes, singing can all be taught to the smallest of children – methods such as Kodaly and Suzuki are famous examples of this. Backed by scientific evidence showcasing the cognitive benefits of early music education, Moosicology’s mission is to provide every child with the opportunity to unlock their full potential through the universal language of music. Join us in shaping the future of music education – one note at a time. |
